MEET THE TEAM

Liv Borski

Hi, my name is Liv Borski, and I am currently in between earning my Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science from James Madison University, and figuring out whether I want to go down the path of nursing or physical therapy. Before Oasis, I was born in New York City and grew up in Fairfield County, Connecticut. I played varsity volleyball and club volleyball all 4 years of high school and was awarded All-State and All-FCIAC along with a scholarship. I wanted to play volleyball in college, but I felt the need to leave my volleyball career on a high note and figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Once I graduated college, my parents then delivered the shocking news of, “Surprise! We are moving to Texas!”. All alone, living with my parents fresh out of college, they recommended I do a pickleball lesson with them. I thought, “What the heck, I don’t have anything better to do.” After that lesson, I was immediately captivated and looking forward to the next time I was able to play. I then volunteered to help out at the Texas Open, which grew my love even more for this sport. Eventually, I needed a job and Miranda was gracious enough to give me a chance and I am now the assistant director. If you told me 6 months ago that I would be doing what I was doing now, I would have looked at you like you were crazy. Now, I would not change a thing.
